Let’s face it, COVID is here to stay for a while and I want people to be able to breathe while they wear their masks. I read a Facebook post about a woman trying to acclimate into wearing a mask. She attempts to wear it at her home and just can’t. I know that she is not alone, and I wanted to get this into as many hands as possible.

Let me be honest with you. I face(d) the same problem. Currently, I rarely need to leave my home, so I don’t have to wear a mask very often. But when I do, I understand the feelings of claustrophobia, anxiety, panic, and fears. I totally get it. There are times when I am at home, practicing and I do fine, then I get out of the house and bam, I am hit with strong emotions and feelings. I sometimes need to stop and just relax into the feelings while I am out in the public. I know what you’re going through and these exercises I am going to share with you are the things I did to overcome my issues. I do not like it when people struggle or suffer. So, I created this just for you, and you, and you, and you.

You would think that breathing is a normal and natural process but when you put on a mask and go out, things change. It feels like the air is stagnant, it feels claustrophobic, the air just does not seem to want to move. It can make you feel defeated, worthless, irritated, or frustrated, especially when you must give up your job or see other people wearing their masks without an issue.

So where do the emotions come from?

  • Is it that you already have breathing issues?

  • Did something from your past get stuck and needs to be dealt with today?

  • Are you basing this off prior experience and expect to have issues?

  • Is it just something that happens all by itself?

  • You have no idea about the root issue?
     

I get it. I know that there are others out there like you that have issues when they wear a mask. Feelings that range from anger to defeat, from frustration to anxiety. There are several reasons why this can happen.

I have created a course that takes you through a journaling exercise, an intensity exercise, and a muscle testing exercise. Then we move into an amazingly simple tapping script, an extended tapping script, and then a guided meditation. All of these are created to help you clear the stuckness, the frustrations, and anxiety around having to wear a mask.
